In lieu of journaling this week, I will be posting a Deep Question of the Day.
Why is it so hard to remember to ask, “What do you need from me?” instead of assuming, guessing, and getting it wrong?

Because people who are in the position of “expert” in the room rarely ask it, so it’s not likely you’ve heard it a lot from the people who are your conscious or unconsious teaching role models. 🙂 Sometimes it’s also a difficult question for the student to answer, as they may not really know.
MJ – it’s probably the type of question that gets easier to answer with practice. Hopefully it gets easier to ask with practice too!
